U-Foria has been together for about five years. However, the band members individually have had many years of experience under their belts. There are three main members of the band. Miranda Willmore/Vocals, Shawn Harmon/Lead Guitar/Vocals and James Thompson/Drums. Bass is played by rotating members.
Small Town Famous Story
We are a small town band that has been performing nationally for about 5 years. We have been traveling and working hard to create our music and share it with the world. We all have different jobs at home when we are not touring. Miranda Willmore, the lead singer of U-Foria, works at Cracker Barrel and has done so for 19 years. When someone asks her to sing Happy Birthday to a guest, she doesn't hesitate. One day she sang Happy Birthday to a customer named Jared Gravatt, who later posted the video on his TikTok account and it went viral! The video received lots of National attention. She was asked to sing the jingle on Good Morning America while Shawn Harmon, the guitar player of U-Foria played guitar along with her. She was also asked to do an interview on the Today show with Hoda & Jenna after they featured the viral video. They then announced that Cracker Barrel was gifting Miranda and U-Foria with an all expense paid recording of their 4 song EP in Nashville Tennessee at Black Bird Studio. This was all thanks to the amazing people from Cracker Barrel and their Care It Forward Program. We were in shock to say the least. This was a dream come true for us and could not have been more thankful and blessed. After we recorded our EP in Nashville Tennessee, Miranda was also invited to meet Jennifer Nettles in New York. Jennifer was also working with Cracker Barrel as part of their Care It Forward Program. Since recording at Black Bird Studio in Nashville TN, we now have our cds and our new merchandise. We will be releasing our new EP, Small Town Famous, on April 21st. We can not wait to share our music with the world.
